Jame

Privacy Policy

Effective August 26, 2026

Jame has no accounts, no servers of its own, no ads, no analytics, and no trackers. Your progress lives on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage that only you can read. That's the whole story; the rest of this page spells it out.

Who we are

Jame is made by Manxz. If you have any question about this policy, write to jame@manxz.com.

What Jame stores

To make the game work, Jame keeps a save file. It contains:

None of this identifies you by name. Jame never asks for your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact details, and there is nowhere in the app to type free text.

Where it goes

Your iPhone

The save file is kept in the app's own storage on your device. The install identifier is kept in the device keychain. Deleting Jame removes its data from the device; a fresh install starts a fresh save.

iCloud

If your device is signed in to iCloud and iCloud is enabled for Jame, the save file is synced to the private iCloud database of your Apple Account so your progress follows you between devices. Private iCloud data is readable only by your Apple Account — we cannot see it, and Apple handles it under the Apple Privacy Policy. You can turn syncing off at any time in Settings → your name → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud → Jame, and delete the stored data from iCloud storage management in Settings.

Game Center (optional)

Jame is fully playable without Game Center. If you sign in, Jame submits your scores to two leaderboards — levels completed this season, and your daily puzzle time — along with which piece you have equipped, so it can be drawn as your avatar next to your score. Leaderboards show the Game Center nicknames of other players, and yours to them. Game Center accounts, nicknames, and their visibility are managed by Apple; you can sign out in Settings → Game Center.

App Store purchases

Coin packs are sold as in-app purchases processed entirely by Apple. Jame never sees or stores your payment method, billing address, or any other payment details; it receives only a transaction identifier and what was bought. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What Jame does not do

Children

Jame is a logic puzzle suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. In-app purchases and Game Center can be restricted with Screen Time.

Your choices

Changes

If Jame ever starts collecting something new, this page will change first and the effective date at the top will move. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
